PLEASE NOTE: We fully test + load all our software, mapping etc onto each unit after your order has been placed right here in Australia! This ensures you get the most up-to-date system that’s ready to go! As a result, dispatch time during normal periods is usually around 2-3 business days - during sale periods this can be 4-5 business days (not including weekends) from when you place your order. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive emails with tracking information, a tax invoice and your install / user guide. We apologise for the delay and appreciate your patience.

Installation

Most of our products come in "kit" format with everything required to install into your vehicle, this includes "plug and play" harnesses which are designed to make the installation as easy as possible. We also provide full installation instructions (including photos) from installations we have done. We also provide a comprehensive user guide and have many videos on YouTube showing various functions of our products.

Our kits are designed for DIY installation, the hardest part of the installation is normally removing the dash panels and factory unit.

We pride ourselves on after sales service and are generally very responsive to tech support emails.

However, if you are not confident in completing the installation yourself, we do recommend utilising a local professional to install it for you. Normally, auto electricians or Autobarn stores that are local to you will be able to install your kit without issue. We can even supply you with the contact details of a professional in your area if required!

If you have organised a local professional, we recommend passing on the installation / user guide (that you'll receive after placing an order) to them on the day of the installation. Alternatively, you can give them our email (www.customcarstereosystems@gmail.com) and we will be happy to pass on the relevant documents to ensure the installation goes off without a hitch!

Installation costs do vary depending on the product, vehicle and any additional extras that need to be installed. We can provide you with an estimate on labour time / cost, simply send us an email with your vehicle details and the product/s you're interested in!

Please note that all installation related costs are additional to the product prices and are payable directly to the installer. These installers are an independent business and are not employed by Custom Car Stereo Systems.

Any damage caused to the vehicle and/or products due to poor installation is not covered under warranty and is the responsibility of the customer / installer.

Warranty

By purchasing our product/s you are agreeing to our warranty terms and conditions outlined below:

Terms and conditions - Warranty

All of our products are covered by 12 months limited warranty

1. Custom Car Stereo Systems and / or its employees are not responsible for damages caused to the vehicles electrical system, components or interior panels due to poor installation. DIY customers install our products at their own risk.

2. Custom Car Stereo Systems will NOT provide a warranty repair and / or replacement service for damage to our products due to poor installation. DIY customers install our products at their own risk. We strongly suggest getting a professional to install our products.

Custom Car Stereo Systems does NOT guarantee compatibility and / or provide warranty for third party devices (this includes but are not limited to phones, USB storage devices, factory components and software).

Custom Car Stereo Systems will NOT provide warranty for products that are misused, damaged or have third party software is installed that contains malware / viruses.

Refund Policy:

In the event of a customer requesting a refund of the purchase price, the following guidelines must be met:

* The refund must be requested and posted within 14 days of receiving the products.

* The product/s will need to be removed at the customers expense (if required) and placed in the original packaging.

* The product/s will need to be posted using registered post to Custom Stereo Systems' return address. Return postage is payable by the customer.

* Once Custom Car Stereo Systems has received the product/s, they will inspect and test the product/s before processing a refund. Once the product/s have been inspected / tested, and found to be of acceptable quality and without damage, Custom Car Stereo Systems will process the refund within 14 business days, please note: postage costs are NOT refundable.

* If the product/s are returned damaged or faulty (not in a re-sellable condition), Custom Car Stereo Systems can deny the claim for a refund or refund the purchase price minus the costs to restore the condition of the product/s.

* Optional software licence activations and screen protectors (if fitted to the screen) are NOT refundable.

In the event of a customer request for a refund AFTER the 14 day period has passed, Custom Car Stereo Systems will offer a repair / replacement initially. If this is rejected by the customer, Custom Car Stereo Systems will take into consideration the amount of time the customer has used the product/s for and may offer a refund at a reduced rate. This rate is 8.3% per month used (for example, after 6 months the refund amount offered will be 50% of the purchase price, excluding postage costs). The customer will be informed of this reduced amount BEFORE a refund is accepted. Once Custom Car Stereo Systems has received the product/s back from the customer, they will inspect and if passed the inspection, process the refund within 14 business days.

Return / Warranty Repair Policy:

In the event of a problem with our product/s, we will attempt to solve the problem via correspondence with the customer. This may include voice calls, text messages or emails. If the problem cannot be resolved in this manner, they will request the product/s be sent back for repair or replacement.

The following guidelines must be met:

* The original purchase date is less than 12 months from the request for a return / repair date.

* The customer has received (in text format) an authorization to send back the product/s.

* All requested products / components are sent back.

* Any labour charges to remove the requested product/s are the responsibility of the customer.

* Warranty / repair return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

Once we receive the requested products, they will test and repair / replace any faulty components and send the products back to the customer within 28 days.

Software Updates:

Some problems experienced by the customer may be fixed by the way of a software update. These updates are released regularly and is the responsibility of the customer to update software when instructed by a Custom Car Stereo Systems staff member.

If you contact Custom Car Stereo Systems with a product issue, you may be directed to check for updates. If there are none currently available, we will advise you to take photos and / or video of the issue/s so we can determine the fault and work to provide a solution.

Custom Car stereo systems does not warrant the software installed on our products, only the hardware / harnesses, but will provide technical support to help solve any software issues that my arise.
